Connecting to the Netgate Appliance via the usb console cable

Ensure the drivers are installed on the system ( silicon labs ), this should be available in the munki repo if it is needed.

Connect the Netgate console cable to the usb port on the computer ( most likely the closest mac mini on the rack ) , open terminal and type the following command sudo screen -U /dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART 115200 hit enter ( may need to hit again ) and the pfsense menu should appear allowing for restoration or configuration.
