Log into the pfsense appliance and go to certificate manager to create a certificate for the new device/user. Then go to FreeRADIUS and create the new user, ensure the name matches the certificate common name. Export the certificate. For iOS devices we need a certificate with a password, so download the cert and key and then run the following command.
openssl pkcs12 -export -out certificate.p12 -inkey privateKey.key –in certificate.crt -certfile more.crt
